Counseling and Psychological Services offers a variety of workshops to assist students in developing academic skills, exploring career options and making career decisions and personal growth. Workshop Registration

To register for a workshop online, follow these steps:

  1. Click the workshop you would like to attend, and enter the requested information.
  2. You must click "submit" after you enter your information.
  3. Make sure to mark your calendar with the date and time of your workshop.
  4. If you need assistance, call Counseling and Psychological Services at 817-272-3671.
  5. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops will be held in the third floor conference room, Ransom Hall.

Workshops

Renew, Relax, Revive
Practice mindfulness and meditative techniques to effectively manage stress. Most Mondays 1:15pm-1:45pm + Thursdays 12:30-1pm throughout Spring 2020. Ransom Hall 310. Open to all UTA campus community. Join us day of event. No Registration Required.

MAVS Wellness Series
Join us for one or all of our active learning sessions, open to all UTA students. We will explore different aspects of wellness to help you decrease your stress and increase energy through better nutrition, physical movement, restful sleep, managing finances, balancing emotions, connecting with others, and improving concentration. The series will repeat throughout Spring 2020. Begins Feb 3rd, 3-4pm, MAC 213. No registration required. Mental Health First Aid--FACULTY AND STAFF ONLY
Learn how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health related crisis or problem. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. *For Faculty/Staff Only. 8:30am-4pm with 30 minute lunch on your own.

QPR For Suicide Prevention
Increase awareness of the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of people who may be considering suicide and learn how to intervene with at risk individuals. Registration Required. Open to all UTA students, faculty and staff unless noted.
