Counseling and Psychological Services offers a variety of workshops to assist students in developing academic skills, exploring career options and making career decisions and personal growth. Workshop Registration

To register for a workshop online, follow these steps:

  1. Click the workshop you would like to attend, and enter the requested information.
  2. You must click "submit" after you enter your information.
  3. Make sure to mark your calendar with the date and time of your workshop.
  4. If you need assistance, call Counseling and Psychological Services at 817-272-3671.
  5. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops will be held in the third floor conference room, Ransom Hall.

MAVS Talk Anxiety and Stress Reduction - Live Webinar
Learn about symptoms of anxiety and stress reduction techniques. Registration required with UTA email address. Email with link to join webinar will be sent on day of event. Microsoft Teams required.

Koru Mindfulness Workshop Series - Fac/Staff Only
Koru will introduce you to mindfulness and meditation, taught as a weekly, 75-minute class over four weeks. Koru Mindfulness is an evidence-based program specifically designed for teaching mindfulness and meditation as way to manage stress and reduce anxiety. You will learn specific skills that help calm and focus your mind, including breathing exercises, guided imagery, body scan, and more! Meetings start July 17th and will continue July 24, 31, and Aug 7. All meetings will occur 1-2:15pm. Please sign up for July 17th meeting and more details will be emailed to you. Mental Health First Aid--FACULTY AND STAFF ONLY
Learn how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health related crisis or problem. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. *For Faculty/Staff Only. 8:30am-4pm with 30 minute lunch on your own.

MAVS Wellness Series
Join us for one or all of our active learning sessions, open to all UTA students. We will explore different aspects of wellness to help you decrease your stress and increase energy through better nutrition, physical movement, restful sleep, managing finances, balancing emotions, connecting with others, and improving concentration.

QPR For Suicide Prevention
Increase awareness of the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of people who may be considering suicide and learn how to intervene with at risk individuals. Registration Required. Open to all UTA students, faculty and staff unless noted.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory
